<p>The proposed design for 1911 Telegraph is informed by the Uptown neighborhood which is distinguished through the dedication of its residents, concentration of arts, culture and entertainment venues, restaurants, bars, and well-preserved historic buildings, all within close proximity and with easy access to transportation.</p> <br> <br><p>HOTEL: 1911 Telegraph anchors the corner of Telegraph and William with a boutique hotel that will thrive as a destination adjacent to the Fox Theatre and the soon to be redeveloped Sears (formerly Capwell Emporium) department store.</p> <br> <br><p>RESIDENTIAL: Millennials desire an integration of life and work that is different for the life-work balance of prior generations.1911 Telegraph appeals to this lifestyle, offering a diversity of uses and apartment types that may include loft units in the podium to serve the unique needs of this emerging demographic. The space will support their full integration and connection to an entrepreneurial and mobile community where neighborhood activities are an integral part of this holistic living and working experience.
