Heidi Skuba Maretz is Corporate Counsel for OliverMcMillan. Heidi joined the company in October 1998 and has principal responsibility for managing the legal affairs of OliverMcMillan. Heidi oversees a variety of legal matters affecting OliverMcMillan and its related entities, including real estate acquisitions and divestitures, leasing, property management, intellectual property and litigation.
Prior to joining OliverMcMillan, Heidi was corporate counsel for Gatlin Development Company, a San Diego retail shopping center developer. Heidi’s legal career started at San Diego’s oldest law firm Luce, Forward Hamilton and Scripps, where she was an associate in the Real Estate Department responsible for handling primarily purchase and sale, leasing, and lending transactions.
Heidi graduated magna cum laude from UCLA, with a B.A. in Communications Studies and obtained her J.D. at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, where she served as Executive Publishing Editor of COMM/ENT, a communications and entertainment law journal.
