OliverMcMillan is breaking ground this week for a 14-acre mixed-use project in Houston. The San Diego developer is building the River Oaks District along Westheimer Road, just inside the 610 Loop near the Galleria. It is slated to be ready in the spring of 2015. Bank of America Merrill Lynch leads a lending group that provided $150 million of construction financing. The development is expected to contain 252,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 92,000 sf of boutique office space and 279 residential units.
