Italian Shoe Designer to Open First Houston Location
Houston Business Journal
Italian shoemaker and fashion designer Giuseppe Zanotti will open his first Houston boutique Nov. 4 in the River Oaks District.
The 1,100-square-foot store will feature men's and women's shoes, sneakers, jewelry, handbags and ready-to-wear clothing from the high-end designer.
The River Oaks location will be the brand's second in Texas, after opening a location in Dallas last spring. In total, Giuseppe Zanotti has 10 locations in the U.S. and Panama.

The designer store joins a number of other high-end stores slated for the River Oaks District.
Hermes, a luxury French designer, opened its store in the shopping center on Oct. 30, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Other venues, like the plush iPic Theater and Austin-based Hopdoddy Burger Bar, have announced plans to open in the center soon. Meanwhile, stores like Cartier and New York-based men's clothier Bonobos have already opened.
River Oaks District officially opened on Oct. 1, though parts of the development are still underway. California-based OliverMcMillan Inc. is developing the project.
As of last month, the retail component was 85 percent leased, and 95 percent of those retailers were new to Houston.
