Upscale mixed-use project Buckhead Atlanta has landed two more first-to-market apparel makers, BONOBOS and Courage. B.

It's also landing the first free-standing Alice + Olivia boutique in Atlanta. The chic women’s apparel and accessories retailer will open a 1,564 square foot boutique on Buckhead Avenue, one of the main streets within Buckhead Atlanta and the broader Buckhead Village area.

Men’s clothing designer BONOBOS will open a 1,308-square-foot store on Bolling Way.

Courage b., known for its blend of American and European styles, will open a 1,806-square-foot clothing boutique on Buckhead Avenue.

It’s just a few of the 36 shops and restaurants slated for Buckhead Atlanta, an eight-block redevelopment of a former seedy Buckhead bar district.

San-Diego developer OliverMcMillan restarted the project nearly three years ago.

Atlanta developer Ben Carter was the first to see the potential in the redevelopment, when he launched the project just before the downturn, calling it Streets of Buckhead — the Rodeo Drive of the South. Then, construction stopped amid the Great Recession.

Once it took over, OliverMcMillan didn’t want Buckhead Atlanta to stand out as much as blend in to surrounding Buckhead, known for its mix of multi-million-dollar homes, luxury shopping and glass office towers. Today, Buckhead Atlanta is reflecting a new vibe in the district, a walkable mix of stores and restaurants along cobblestone streets.

Earlier this year, Atlanta Business Chronicle reported a slew of new retailers that would open in Buckhead Atlanta, including women’s fashion boutique Intermix; fashion retailers L’Occitane, Moncler and Canali; Italian cashmere maker Brunello Cucinelli; luxury Italian label Etro; fashion boutique Scoop NYC; and 10 restaurants such as upscale French bistro Le Bilboquet.

Atlanta underwear company Spanx is also putting its headquarters and a flagship retail store at Buckhead Atlanta.

OliverMcMillan has said the first stores and restaurants are set to open Sept. 18, including:

Brunello Cucinelli

Canali

Corso Coffee

Dyptique

Etro

Hermes (in the new space)

Gypsy Kitchen

L’Occitane
