Bob Mueller serves as the Director of Construction for Oliver McMillan where he oversees construction and development of several OliverMcMillan projects nationwide. Bob holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University. He is a licensed General Contractor and a Registered Professional Engineer.
Bob has over 25 years of management experience in the development, construction and engineering businesses. He has vast experience in brownfield development.
Prior to joining OliverMcMillan, Bob was the Owner’s Representative for the construction of Petco Park, the San Diego Padres new $437M baseball park. He was also the Construction Manager and Responsible Managing Employee of Padres Construction LP that was the construction company building the new facility. The diversity of the Ballpark construction project included contracting with over 50 subcontractors, construction of over 5 acres of turf and landscaping, luxury suites, multiple restaurants, bars and concessions, kitchen and food preparation facilities, disabled access, restoration of historic buildings, over 40,000 square feet of office space and mechanical electrical and plumbing equipment to operate the facility. The project also included redevelopment of several properties surrounding the ballpark facility. Prior to joining the San Diego Padres, Bob worked as a contractor to the Air Force for the Base closure and redevelop of Williams Air Force Base in Mesa Arizona that included an East Campus for Arizona State University and the new Gateway International Airport development.
