"Unique Firm,
Unique Approach,
Unparalleled Results."
The employees of OliverMcMillan share a common belief that our work is not only about real estate development, but also about people and how they can live and enjoy community life together in a dynamic urban environment. To this end, we invest a great deal of time working with community groups and public agencies, educating ourselves about community-specific history and goals. Once we understand the needs of the community, we work with outstanding architects, contractors and engineers to deliver a product that not only meets those needs, but succeeds in creating a comfortable and interesting, sustainable environment.
Projects such as OliverMcMillan’s The Pike in Long Beach, California bridge the historic architecture of their respective eras to the modern style of surrounding new development. Similarly, the Uptown District project, in San Diego, California, which has been nationally recognized for its mix of retail and residential product, demonstrates our approach to projects from both a real estate and urban planning viewpoint. The newest OliverMcMillan legacy, The Glen Town Center, converts the past of The Glenview Naval Air Station to the present through creative adaptation re-use of historic structures and the creation of a new 1.1 million square foot downtown, and was the recipient of the Urban Land Institute “Project of the Year” in 2005.
