Similarly, the Uptown District project, in San Diego, California, which has been nationally recognized for its mix of retail and residential product, demonstrates our approach to projects from both a real estate and urban planning viewpoint. The newest OliverMcMillan legacy, The Glen Town Center, converts the past of The Glenview Naval Air Station to the present through creative adaptation re-use of historic structures and the creation of a new 1.1 million square foot downtown, and was the recipient of the Urban Land Institute “Project of the Year” in 2005.
